This review is written from the point of view of a 50-something woman experiencing broken sleep and hot nights (and not in a good way). The Snoozeband 2.0 has made a massive positive change to my nights. The 2.0 version is lightweight and comfortable and doesn't make me noticeably hotter during the night. The flat speakers are comfortable even when side sleeping and you can pull it down over your eyes to act as a sleep mask. It doesn't block out all the light (there is a slight gap at the bottom where it doesn't quite mould to the shape of your face) but it cuts out enough light that you are not awoken at dawn. The speakers move about a litle within their fabric case, but you can easily push them back into place. It is easy (even for a technophobe like me) to connect it to a phone and programme the timer so it turns off after 1 or 2 hours to save battery life. In this way, it only needs recharging every couple of weeks. Annoyingly I broke one of the wires where it attaches to the speaker while I was putting them back into the band after washing it, which was my fault, but it does show that you need to be gentle when re-inserting them. I have just ordered a replacement as I can't imagine nights without it. When I wake now, I put on a dull history podcast, and drift off again quite happily.
